Power to Country at Malandarri Festival

Named after the traditional name for Borroloola, the 2024 Malandarri (freshwater spring) Festival is happening this weekend with a special screening of Power to Country. Meet Shirley Simon and Conrad Rory (Chair Person, Ngardara Cooperative) on Saturday 15 June at 6:15pm to watch the film and learn more about energy justice for First Nations communities.

The Yanyuwa, Garrwa, Gurdanji and Mara peoples invite you onto Yanyuwa Country to celebrate culture through music, dance, film, conversation and workshops. Hope to see you there!
